About Me
I am a Canadian-born textile artist and environmental professional, currently based in the province of New Brunswick.
I draw inspiration from satellite imagery captured and rendered by NASA's Ocean Biology Processing Group, satellite imagery from Google Maps and the work of aerial photographers.
My Work
I create intricate hand embroidered pieces which capture the beauty of Earth from above. To do so, I use "an array of different stitches and thread colours in a technique called “thread painting” which emulates the constant motion of water". (Margherita Cole, MyModernMet).
